CALCULATE THE WIDTH OF THE BLIND WE NEED
When there is free space on both sides of the window, we are faced with the simplest and most desirable case of all.
Simply, we must measure the width of the window frame and add 10 cm to each side, so that the blind covers the window well, thus achieving the installation that offers the best aesthetics.
CASE 2:
ON ONE SIDE OF THE WINDOW, THERE IS FREE SPACE; ON THE OTHER SIDE, NO
When the window has free space on one side, but not on the other, we measure the width of the window frame and add 5 cm on the side where we have space, as shown in the following illustration
CASE 3:
THE WINDOW IS SNUG BETWEEN WALLS
If our window is fitted between walls on both sides and, therefore, has no free space on one side or the other, we will measure the width of the window frame and deduct 1 cm in total, 0.5 cm for each side , to prevent the blind from being larger than the available space and not fitting into the available space.
HOW TO MEASURE THE WIDTH WHEN THE WINDOW HAS A DRAWER
When calculating the width of the blind, you must always measure the space you want to cover and then add the necessary cm on one side and the other, to achieve the installation that offers the best aesthetics.
Therefore, if the window has a blind box that protrudes beyond the frame of the window itself, this must be taken into account and the width of the blind box should be taken as X, which is the element that protrudes the most. Then, add the necessary cm to both sides, depending on the case in which we find ourselves, as described above.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE WIDTH OF THE BLIND
The width you provide us will be the total width of the blind, from outside to outside of the support. The width measurement of the fabric will be 5 cm less, since the blind mechanisms occupy 2.5 cm on each side. Please check that the width from support to support is suitable for placement in the available space and that the width of the fabric covers all the areas you want.

CALCULATE THE HEIGHT OF THE BLIND WE NEED
CASE 1:
INSTALLATION TO THE WALL
To install our blind with anchor to the wall, we must measure the height of the window frame and then add 10 cm, both above and below.
CASE 2:
CEILING INSTALLATION
When you have to overcome obstacles that protrude far from the wall, such as blind boxes, radiators, etc., installing the blind to the ceiling is a very appropriate solution. To calculate the height of the blind that we need in this case, we measure from the ceiling to the bottom of the window frame, and then we add 10 cm below.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE HEIGHT OF THE BLIND
When obstacles stand in the path of the blind that protrude more than 7 cm from the wall: window handles, radiators, blind drawers, etc., they must be avoided.

a) Install the blind to the ceiling.
b) Add to your order a square that separates the blind from the wall more than 7 cm. We have several of these squares available, depending on your needs. Simply choose the one you need when placing your order
